Just opened up to pages 50 & 51 of Octobers's Bluegrass Unlimited and came across Rhonda Vincent's full page ad and right next to that is a full page ad for a group called the Next Best Thing. I looked down and saw Haley standing there! Congrats Haley!

Next best thing is performing a good handful with Rhonda on selected dates. Haley, seems they made a typo on 11/21. They wrote 11/12 instead. :c(

Boy that is a name I have not seen on the Hangout in quite a few years. Congratulations on the start of a very promising career.

Looks like she's new to the band, which seems to be rooted in the ETSU bluegrass program.

WOW!! time does fly, seems like only a short time ago you were telling us you were going.
Congrats to everything, school, the band, and much success in both.
Let us know if you come anywhere near Va. Tech. I'll head that way.

I heard Haley playing with Next Best Thing last month in Franklin, Ky. She sounded great! I'm looking forward to hearing her play again.

And that College Graduation hat will be a good place to paperclip the lyrics to, in case the player behind you forgets.

Take THAT, all you scoffers who think that college is wasted on banjo pickers!

Congrats Haley. Count me in with those who have remarked that time flies; I too remember when you decided on ETSU, and how excited you were to be going there, and now you're a senior. Seems that my college years went by a lot slower than yours have.
