There are truly some incredible deals on banjos these days. I recently came into possession of a GF 200 Ltd edition 1952 with the bow tie inlays. These maple Gold Stars are very good banjos and the one I have is making me much less ' mahogany only"in my preference...

I can only imagine if we would have had the great choices of today available when I started in 1974. I would probably be now sittin' on a street corner in Nashville with an open case playing for tips or accepting tips NOT to play!

Dan, I wish you luck on this one...when the economy comes back I will bet a lot of folks are going to be wishing they had been able to have gotten one of these at this price...

I was in Dan's shop a few weeks back and this definitely is a nice Gold Star. Very bright and crisp notes all the way up the neck!
