Some newly uncovered information which has just been revealed to me has now made me re-consider the current numbering vs dates information. More shocking news soon ..... hang on to your rims boys and girls because this new info is about to be released.

9478-149 was sold in 1930.....and 9602-1 was sold in 1931....bill of sale doumentation here:

....Frank Schoepf has been preaching this sermon for quite a while...these FONs just were not used in order.....

9584-3 might have been built in 1930, but it wasn't ordered until 1934..........along with 9584-5, which was ordered at the same place, on the same day and arrived at that place on the same day, along with 9584-3. So, these banjos were sitting in the Gibson factory for 4 years??
