Looking for a CC-100R thanks to the good advice on this site. There's one for sale on craigslist. Can any experts offer an opinion on this deal?

well their almost $500 new, there was one in the classifieds a while back for $350 so pending a actual inspection of this instrument $250 doesn't seem off the mark.

That is a good price for it! I bought my CC100R off craigslist as well! They play great!

Street price is around $395, so it's a good price if you like the banjo.

Cool, looks like I guessed right on the "ATL". I paid $200 for mine but it needed a good bit of work to get it playable. Once I bought a bridge, a head, strings, and replaced two resonator lugs and screws it put it up to $250 or there about.
