If we make the pilgrimage to DC and parts nearby, we want to hear and see ADam Hurt at Kennedy Center on July 9th. 6PM, I think.

Does anyone know more about this? It could be a great weekend. Adam on the 9th, the Old 78's at a house concert on the 10th, and then the 11-12 with the rest of the banjo world.

We are almost 100% sure we'll make it - have to check with SWA to see if my banjo, uke and Michael's guitar can fit into a seat on one ticket.

Free? That's cool - so how long a drive is it from the Baltimore Airport to the Kennedy Center?

Drive from BWI to Ken Cen depends on the time of day. 1.5 hrs. with NO traffic, much longer in Rush Hour. Where are you staying? This could influence my suggestion of transportation & route. Email me offline at info@oldtimebanjofestival.com

I'm going to be in the area for a conference and already have my tickets for the Birchmere. Will be meeting old college friends who live in the area say they know you and Marcy from children's shows they attended when their kids were small. We're all looking forward to it.

I'll probably have time to come up to Takoma on Sunday, but I have no transportation from the conference hotel. And I think I fit uncomfortably in between the novice and intermediate classes, so I'd likely be a fifth wheel (something like a fifth string on a tenor banjo!).

See you in a month! I'll be the one with the beard . . .

Robert

Just breathe.
