...this pad is available from Janet Davis...has anyone ever purchased one, and if so does it in fact make the banjo strap more comfortable?

I've thought about it, too, but haven't done it yet. Interested to hear if anyone has it. It should help, since the load will be distributed over a larger area. I think my strap has been causing me some discomfort lately, so I'm looking for the same or similar product.
