I know it's a bit early for this kind of thing, but the dulcimer bunch that I play with all of the time is already gearing up for our Christmas seasonal performances, so I decided to post a few tunes that we might be doing, or that were inspired by songs that we normally perform. This is the first of 'em...

Well, Mark, the Christmas decorations have already been put up in a lot of our local stores, and the catalogs are coming in the mail like locusts, so you're not really early, just entrepreneurial. Anyway, great, job. I still like to hear banjo picked with a real brush, like the old ones used to do. You get that nice knock-down shuffle that doesn't come through in the playing of the more restrained clawhammer stylists. Sometimes I fear we are gradually removing the "country" from Old Time Country Music. Keep dispensing your antedote.
