I was looking to get some feedback on a Faulkner Tone Ring. I have a 1930's Gibson tb11 set up with this tone ring and the sound is just outstanding, wanting to sell this banjo but do not know how to price it with this tone ring. I have not seen any of these rings sell, and now I know why now. Anyone have any information on pricing this tone ring?
Thanks

It's probably only going to go for whatever people are paying for any other TB11 with a ring installed. Besides being hard to identify, Faulkners aren't for sale much. Gruhn had a 60's 250 that supposedly had a Faulkner and it sat a long time for $2500.

Didn't know William Faulkner made tone rings, in between wrinting books every critic thinks are great, but nobody reads any more. Those folks from Mississippi sure are versital, putting on last night's debate, making tone rings, etc.

Gruhn's sold Courtney Johnson's TB11 a while back. It was said to have a Faulkner ring.
