I know that the technology either already exists or is nearly here that will allow people to join in on virtual jam sessions, virtual bands, and even virtual live recording sessions with people anywhere as long as there is a high speed connection.
Is anyone working on this?

I would imagine, even with a very high speed connection that there would still be too much of a delay for something like this.
