Does anyone have tabs for "Ghost Riders In The Sky"?

Scotty

I dont have it scanned onto the computer, but if you get yourself the book by janet davis called "the ultimate banjo songbook" there is a good version tabbed out in there.

Thanks, I'll look for it.

Scotty, the Janet Davis book has the song in two different keys. I'm working on them now and they're both a whole lot of fun to play and not beyond the realm of a dedicated beginner.

Shoot me an email. I arranged it in a Gm tuning (g-D-G-Bb-D), played in the key of Gm.

I found if you use the F chord in the first fret most of the song is right there under your fingers. When you go to the higher part of the song slide your chord to the 7th fret then the 5th fret and back to the 1st. And chord it.Then slide to the fifth fret and chord and then back to the first fret position for the rest of the melody.

Hope that is not too confusing.

What about some tab? Can you provide us any tab that fully details what you're trying to explain? 'Cuz you know what they say: One page of tab is worth a whole Murphy Henry instructional DVD.
